last night sucked, thats all i can say.
we had 2 full lines, we were missing one of our fastest players, and one of our key defencemen out there and it showed.
we got outplayed by a better and more amped up Onedin Knighthaws team and they beat us 2-1 in the first game of the playoffs, thats no good.
we started off the game strong and scored the first goal but they came back in the second and third periods and tied it up and eventually scored the game winning goal with 3 minutes left in the game.
our defence was sloppy as hell, our offence just couldnt get it going at all. we need to practice our breakout, really badly.
we also need to isolate their shitty right defencemen and pressure the shit out of them so that we can enter their zone more easily and get off more shots.
we arent gonna win if we get less than 1o shots in a game, thats a given.
now we need to win the next game and then win in the overtime. no big deal.
we're missing hackett next week, which blows, and maybe johnson as well, which also sucks the big one.
atleast we'll have ross back (the nitrous), and ian on defence as well.
just call me and smiley the fast and the furious. im pissed and he's the fastest player on the floor.
